Lobster Key is derived
from the coastal areas in which the wines are grown.
This coastline is renowned for its bounty of sea fare
such as scallops, paua (abalone), and sea fish such
as marlin, snapper, tuna and, of course, crayfish, the
New Zealand lobster.
The subtle flavors of the Lobster Key family of wines
blend well with the bounties from the land and seas
of their native New Zealand, a country whose waters
team with shellfish, crustaceans, salmon and trout.
From its humble beginnings in the 1980’s the
New Zealand wine industry has been an unparalleled success
as a supplier of niche products into international markets.
Lobster Key is a product of the New Zealand success
story. The Mason family have been winemaking since 1986
and have utilised their expertise to create this “specialist
range”, a food friendly family - Lobster Key.
